Job summary

Linde plc is seeking a Production Supervisor for our Denver, CO operations. You will lead a team of entry-level production employees to ensure customer demand is consistently met and coordinate daily production and distribution activities.

You will drive reliability, safety and quality initiatives and report to plant management. The role requires 5+ years in industrial settings, leadership experience, and willingness to work in a unionized environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of experience in an industrial plant environment.
• 5+ years in driver, operations, distribution or quality roles.
• At least 3 years of experience leading and developing employees.
• Willingness to work in a unionized environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of entry-level production employees to ensure customer demand is met.
• Coordinate daily production activities and distribution requirements, including local delivery routes and shuttle scheduling.
• Lead reliability, compliance, quality and safety initiatives to meet governmental and environmental regulations; ensure employees are trained and work with the Compliance Manager on training.
• Monitor production performance and manpower levels to maintain efficiency, anticipate problems, and develop contingencies.
• Identify operational challenges and lead improvement efforts related to production processes, shift scheduling and training; report progress to plant management.
• Manage and upscale equipment and product quality, maintain inventory of production supplies and support 5S and Lean projects and hazardous waste activities; seek to reduce plant operating costs via Operational Excellence.
