Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Plant Manager to lead operations at our U.S. power tools facility. You will drive world-class manufacturing strategies, build high-performing teams, and ensure safety, quality, and cost targets are met.

You will oversee staffing, training, KPI development, and budgeting while fostering MILWAUKEE's core cultural values. Occasional travel is expected as part of sustaining operational excellence.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Industrial Technology or related area, or equivalent experience.
• 5 years' experience leading operations and a diverse workforce, including 2+ years in plant management.
• Experience or certification in Lean/Six Sigma, inventory management/planning, and/or project management preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to motivate and drive results.
• Proven ability to balance daily objectives with strategic improvement projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the facilities readiness to support manufacturing operations.
• Develop staffing and training plans for the plant in the short and long term.
• Build a safe, high-performing plant culture aligned with company values.
• Develop KPIs and manage them to meet or exceed goals.
• Plan and manage the plant budget to maintain financial health.
• Ensure production schedule attainment, on-time delivery, and optimal stock levels.
• Lead cross-functional teams to execute plans with emphasis on safety, quality, service, and cost.
• Identify gaps and optimize processes, technologies, and flow across the value stream.
• Foster data-driven decision making through 5S, Gemba walks, dashboards, and KPI tracking.
• Strategic planning for capacity, space, skilled labor, and new product development.
