Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is hiring a Plant Manager to lead operations, drive world-class manufacturing strategies, and develop high-performing teams at its power tools facilities. Expect to shape staffing, safety, productivity, and quality while aligning with Milwaukee’s core values.

You will manage budgets, implement KPI-driven improvements, and collaborate across functions to meet ambitious growth targets while maintaining a culture of excellence and continuous learning.

Qualifications

  • BS/BA in Operations Management, Engineering, Business Admin, Industrial Technology or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years leading operations; 2+ years in plant management.
  • Lean/Six Sigma, inventory planning, and project management experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; motivate, coach, and drive the team to results.
  • Experience balancing daily objectives with strategic improvement projects.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee facilities readiness to support manufacturing operations.
  • Develop staffing and training plan for the plant – short and long-term.
  • Build and maintain a safe, efficient plant culture aligned with company values.
  • Develop KPIs and manage them to meet or exceed goals.
  • Balance daily tactical leadership with strategic, long-term objectives.
  • Plan and manage the plant budget to maintain financial health.
  • Ensure production schedule attainment and on-time delivery.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to execute operational plans with best-in-class safety, quality, service levels, and cost.
  • Identify gaps and optimize processes, systems, and flow across the value stream.
  • Instill data-driven decision-making with 5S, Gemba walks, and dashboards.
