Jobot is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead a 200-employee facility in Tennessee. You will oversee production, maintenance, engineering, quality, and EHS, while shaping plant strategy and leadership development.

Candidates should have 10+ years of manufacturing leadership, union experience, and a track record of cost savings, safety, and continuous improvement in metals/chemicals/plastics environments. MBA preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, operations or related field; MBA preferred.
• 10+ years manufacturing leadership experience including plant management.
• Experience overseeing a 150+ employee manufacturing organization.
• Background in metals, chemicals, electroplating, plastics or similar.
• Lean or Six Sigma training preferred.
• Experience in a PSM-regulated environment is a plus.
• Experience managing union workforces and working within CBAs.

Responsabilités

• Lead production, maintenance, engineering, quality, and EHS functions.
• Own plant budgets, operating costs, staffing plans, and capital priorities.
• Develop managers and supervisors through clear expectations and coaching.
• Improve throughput, equipment availability, labor productivity, scrap, and on-time delivery.
• Lead Lean initiatives, root cause investigations, and sustainable improvements.
• Partner with technical teams on equipment upgrades, process optimization, capacity expansion.
• Maintain union relationships and administer collective bargaining agreements.
• Support process safety, MOC, and environmental compliance where applicable.
• Establish plant metrics and turn results into actionable improvement plans.
