Job summary

Jobot is an established manufacturer in Hamilton, Ohio, seeking a hands-on Plant Manager to lead daily operations across print, paint, CNC, assembly, shipping, receiving and logistics. You will focus on safety, quality, and delivery while developing supervisors and improving Lean processes.

Responsibilities include coordinating schedules with customer commitments, ensuring OSHA compliance, reducing bottlenecks, and partnering with Sales, Design, Engineering, Project Management, Supply Chain, and

Qualifications

• 10+ years of manufacturing experience and 7+ years of leadership experience.
• Experience overseeing multiple manufacturing departments or functions.
• Hands-on Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and OSHA requirements.
• Strong ERP/MRP experience and advanced Excel skills; Epicor and Smartsheet are a plus.
• Background in millwork, signage, print, woodworking, custom fabrication, or metal fabrication is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead production across multiple departments, aligning schedules, staffing, and priorities with customer commitments.
• Own plant safety, OSHA and environmental compliance, training, audits, and incident follow-up.
• Improve quality, on-time delivery, productivity, labor utilization, and manufacturing costs.
• Reduce bottlenecks, scrap, and rework through Lean practices and root‑cause problem solving.
• Coach supervisors, establish clear expectations, and build an engaged, accountable team.
• Partner with Sales, Design, Engineering, Project Management, Supply Chain, and Finance.
• Manage manufacturing budgets, resources, and expenses.
• Use ERP data and performance metrics to guide decisions and establish consistent production processes.
• Support hiring, training, and retention across plant operations.
