Job summary

RBC Bearings Incorporated in Oklahoma City seeks a Plant Manager to provide strategic direction and operational leadership for the facility. You will drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance while mentoring a manufacturing team and aligning with business goals.

The role emphasizes Lean initiatives, budget ownership, and capital project oversight, with accountability for inventory, asset reliability, and process improvements across functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience, including 5+ years in plant management or senior operations leadership.
• Experience in precision machining, bearings, aerospace, metalworking, or other regulated manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead all plant operations, including manufacturing, planning, quality, maintenance, shipping/receiving, inventory control, and related support functions.
• Establish production priorities and allocate resources to meet demand and objectives.
• Drive performance in safety, quality, delivery, productivity, cost control, and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor KPIs, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to improve results.
• Champion Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop and manage annual operating budgets and support forecasting activities.
• Monitor labor, manufacturing costs, inventory levels, scrap, and other metrics.
• Identify cost-reduction and productivity opportunities.
• Oversee capital expenditures and investments.
