Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead a precision machining facility with relocation assistance. This on-site role is based in the Detroit area and focuses on Lean implementation, production planning, operations management, and performance coaching to meet ambitious manufacturing goals.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in plant management, extensive CNC machining oversight, and strong leadership, strategic planning, and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering; MBA preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in a plant-management role within manufacturing.
• Experience overseeing CNC machining operations.
• Extensive knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to a diverse team and foster collaboration.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize plant operations.
• Oversee Production Planning to ensure on-time, quality output.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing to reduce waste and boost productivity.
• Manage Operations Management and performance metrics.
