UFP Industries, Inc. operates ProWood in Harrisonville, Missouri and seeks a Plant Manager to lead production, safety, and continuous improvement across the facility. You will drive performance, coach leaders, manage schedules, and ensure reliable delivery while controlling costs.

The role requires strong leadership, financial acumen, and hands-on management of safety, quality, and customer commitments in a high-volume lumber treatment environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years of experience as a Production Manager, Operations Manager, or equivalent manufacturing leader.
• Experience leading supervisors, managers, or multiple operational departments.
• Experience managing production schedules, staffing, quality, inventory, maintenance, shipping, and operational performance.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing financials, including budgets, operating expenses, cost control, and profit-and-loss statements.
• Ability to analyze production and financial data and translate findings into measurable actions.
• Strong leadership, coaching, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide plant safety leadership and ensure OSHA compliance and environmental standards.
• Lead plant leadership, staff development, and succession planning.
• Direct daily plant operations to meet production, quality, and cost goals.
• Coordinate master production and shipping schedules with departments.
• Monitor KPIs, production data, and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee inventory, shipping, yard operations, and equipment maintenance.
