UFP Site Built in Berlin, NJ is seeking a Plant Manager to lead sawmill operations, ensuring safe, efficient and profitable production of lumber products. You will oversee production, maintenance, quality, inventory, and workforce performance while driving continuous improvement in safety, productivity, and cost control.

The role requires strong leadership, a track record in manufacturing, and experience with master production schedules, quality standards, and data-driven decision making.

Qualificações

• Minimum of five years of work experience as a production manager or equivalent.
• Forklift operator certification is required.
• MS Office proficiency (Excel, Word, Outlook) preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and coordinate sawmill operations to ensure safe, efficient production of lumber products.
• Staff, develop, coach, and evaluate the production management team.
• Develop and manage master production and shipping schedules across shifts.
• Manage capital expenditure recommendations and quality initiatives.
• Ensure production data is accurately entered and inventory is controlled.
