Job summary

Henderson Group in Storm Lake, IA is seeking a Plant Manager to oversee shop floor operations, drive production objectives, and maximize quality while meeting shipping schedules.

You will lead manufacturing, maintenance, scheduling, and labor relations, develop cost- reduction programs to improve EBIT, and ensure safety, environmental compliance, and policy adherence across the plant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management or Industrial Management.
• 10+ years in manufacturing with at least 4 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, cost controls, and labor relations.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate across all organizational levels.
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking, able to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Directs manufacturing and assembly at optimum cost and quality standards.
• Coordinates production schedules with sales needs and plant capacity.
• Maintains cost, scrap, rework reduction programs to improve EBIT.
• Oversees maintenance, safety, and plant security.
• Leads labor relations and union negotiations where applicable.
