Job summary

PYP launches a Plant Manager in Training program designed to build future operational leaders through hands-on experience in salvage yard operations. You will work with Plant Managers to cover production, sales, inventory, safety, and admin duties, gaining broad exposure and a clear path to Plant Manager responsibilities.

The role emphasizes leadership development, financial oversight, customer service improvements, and adherence to regulations. Training may include Mt.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years' experience in the automotive Industry.
• Strong math and MS Office skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and train others.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production, sales, administration and distribution across the facility.
• Assist with human resources tasks including hiring and reassigning staff.
• Review financials, compare to budget and act on variances.
• Interact with customers to identify service improvements and implement changes.
• Formulate and enforce procedures to maintain high product quality.
• Oversee quality control and drive continuous improvements.
• Chair plant meetings and participate in leadership discussions.
• Handle disciplinary actions as needed and support safety initiatives.
• Travel as part of training to multiple markets as required.
