UFP Industries seeks a Production Management Trainee to build comprehensive knowledge of plant operations and manufacturing processes. You will work under a mentor, performing administrative tasks and learning production scheduling, budgeting, and cost controls.

The role emphasizes hands-on learning, basic report preparation, and exposure to continuous improvement and safety practices across facilities. A strong Excel proficiency is required.

Responsibilities

• Develops knowledge of Company products and procedures through on-the-job training.
• Gains knowledge of panel and lumber grades and lumber math for yields.
• Learns to operate the Company’s business system for administrative tasks.
• Under supervision, supports production scheduling, budgeting, and expense control processes.
• Prepares reports and supports continuous improvement, safety and HR policies.
• Tours other facilities to understand operations and reporting requirements.
