Granite Construction Incorporated is seeking a seasoned operations leader to develop, manage, and optimize profitable construction materials facilities with focus on safety and environmental compliance. You will oversee plant staff, plan production, manage budgets, and mentor teams while coordinating with engineering and construction departments to meet project timelines.

The role requires 5+ years in construction materials and 2+ years of management, with strong technical knowledge of asphalt

Qualifications

• 5+ years work experience in a construction materials environment.
• 2+ years management experience.
• Knowledge of the construction materials business and asphalt/aggregate plants.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and supervise plant workers for aggregates production to ensure profitability.
• Estimate material costs from plan specifications for internal/external quotes.
• Determine manpower, inventory, equipment, and schedules for optimal plant operations.
• Develop and manage P&L budgets for material operations.
• Conduct weekly safety meetings to uphold safety standards.
• Analyze production and cost reports to meet goals.
• Maintain and repair plant equipment per standards.
