Job summary

WoodMaster Portable Buildings, a division of Tuff Shed, Inc., seeks a Plant Manager to oversee daily plant operations—manufacturing, transportation, and scheduling—while upholding safety, quality, and productivity standards.

You will lead a manufacturing team, develop production plans, optimize SOPs, manage supplier relationships and budgets, and ensure on-time delivery and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in manufacturing with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Bachelor's degree in operations management or related field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality assurance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily plant operations including manufacturing, transport, and scheduling.
• Lead and develop plant management team and staff.
• Develop production plans and schedules to meet demand and inventory targets.
• Implement and optimize SOPs to improve efficiency, safety, and quality.
• Monitor production metrics and drive continuous improvement.
• Manage supplier relationships and procurement to ensure materials availability.
• Oversee budgeting, staffing, and administrative functions.
