Job summary

Patriot Foundry & Castings in Franklin, NH seeks a Plant Manager to lead all onsite operations, including planning, production, purchasing and product delivery. You will develop production schedules, manage staff, ensure safety and ISO compliance, and drive continuous improvement across the foundry.

The role demands a solid understanding of metallurgy, experience reading blueprints, and strong leadership with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Understanding metallurgy basics and nonferrous casting processes.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical documents.
• Knowledge of OSHA, environmental compliance and ISO quality systems.
• Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to perform physical duties and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Develop production schedules based on due dates, material availability, staffing, and equipment constraints.
• Oversee manufacturing operations including purchasing, production runs, external operations, and shipping.
• Manage staff including training, providing support, and handling disciplinary action.
• Ensure equipment is kept in working order and arrange for regular preventive maintenance.
• Interact with production and engineering staff to ensure quality issues are resolved and documented.
• Maintain a compliant work environment in accordance with safety and environmental regulatory requirements.
• Complete documentation in line with ISO 9001 requirements including KPIs, inspection logs, nonconformances, and corrective actions.
