Job summary

AWS/CES is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations in a high-volume foundry in Pulaski, Tennessee. You will drive equipment reliability, preventive maintenance, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives, overseeing a team of technicians.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering and 8+ years in maintenance management, with foundry maintenance experience essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of maintenance management experience.
• Foundry maintenance experience required; DISA and/or No-Bake experience desirable.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes including casting, heat treatment, and related technologies.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate large maintenance teams in a fast-paced setting.
• Data-driven decision making and continuous improvement mindset.
• Excellent communication across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement maintenance strategies to maximize reliability, efficiency, and uptime.
• Lead and develop a team of maintenance technicians.
• Oversee planned and unplanned maintenance activities with scheduling and prioritization.
• Conduct regular equipment inspections and prevent mechanical failures.
• Manage the Preventive Maintenance (PM) program.
• Partner with Engineering and Production to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime.
• Manage maintenance and capital budgets and control costs.
• Monitor maintenance tools, equipment, inventory, and spare parts.
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and PM work.
• Respond to emergency maintenance and minimize production disruptions.
• Coordinate external contractors and service providers for timely delivery and quality.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in maintenance processes.
