Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. is seeking a Plant Manager in Lynchburg, VA to lead manufacturing operations, ensuring product quality, safety, and on-time production. This role requires strong leadership to motivate and retain talent across production, engineering, and distribution teams.

You will drive continuous improvement, manage the plant’s P&L, and ensure compliance with environmental, health, safety regulations while delivering optimal efficiency and cost control.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years' plant management experience in a CPG manufacturing environment.
• Operations/Engineering/Supply Chain Management relevant degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead plant operations to meet product quality, output, and safety goals.
• Drive zero-injury safety culture and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Manage plant P&L, production, engineering, distribution, and related activities.
• Analyze variances in materials, labor, and ingredients; implement cost-reduction strategies.
• Develop scheduling and manufacturing plans to meet specifications and deadlines.
• Oversee SOP adherence and continuous improvement initiatives.
