You will manage production schedules, coordinate workflows, drive continuous improvement, lead staff development, and ensure compliance with food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred.
• 10+ years’ experience in a leadership role within planning or supervision in a food manufacturing facility.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and abilities. Working knowledge of production equipment.
• Proactive problem-solving skills.
• Quality System background or foundational knowledge.
• Experience with ERP, WMS and batching software.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct and run day-to-day operations.
• Achieve goals set for the production facility.
• Lead the facility in establishing and meeting continuous improvement objectives.
• Develop processes to increase productivity and enhance performance. Delegate production assignments to appropriate teams and personnel.
• Promote all Safety, Food Safety and Quality policies and procedures while supporting their continuous improvement efforts.
• Foster a well-trained and motivated team by encouraging and supporting the development of all plant employees. Evaluate employees and give suggestions for improvement.
• Provide operational and employee leadership to the facility; assist executive management with budgeting, production statistics, cost analysis, and asset management.
• Responsible for implementing and reporting of plant KPI’s; collect and review data to reduce inefficiencies and waste.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
