Job summary

Linde plc is seeking a senior operations leader for a complex semiconductor gases and chemicals production facility in the United States. You will direct a multi-level team of managers and staff, driving safe, compliant, high‑reliability operations while controlling budgets and capital investments.

You will champion Lean/5S, build talent, ensure quality, and continuously improve processes to meet customer specs and business objectives. Strong leadership and a results orientation are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field highly preferred; high school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in an industrial plant environment.
• More than five (5+) years of experience in Operations, or quality, or engineering roles.
• At least three (3) years of experience leading and developing employees.

• Lead a highly complex semiconductor gases and chemicals production facility, providing strategic direction and day-to-day leadership to a multi-level organization of managers, supervisors, and operations personnel while fostering a culture of safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Direct facility resources, operating budgets, and capital investments to ensure reliable, efficient production that meets customer specs and business objectives, while developing talent and workforce engagement.
• Champion safety, regulatory compliance, environmental stewardship, quality, and operational reliability programs, ensuring adherence to company standards, government regulations, and customer requirements.
• Drive operational performance through proactive management of safety, quality, production, staffing, capital projects, and operating expenses, identifying risks and implementing corrective actions.

• Drive operational performancethrough proactive management of safety, quality, production, staffing,capital projects, and operating expenses, identifying risks, resolvingchallenges, and implementing corrective actions to achieve businesstargets
• Lead Operational Excellenceinitiatives focused on process optimization, equipment reliability,workforce development, inventory management, Lean/5S implementation,hazardous waste management, and sustainable cost reduction.
• You will manage and escape equipment and product quality issues,maintaining adequate inventory of production supplies and support 5S and LeanProjects and hazardous waste activities, continuously identifying ways toreduce plant operating costs through Operational Excellence strategies
