ALPLA Group in the United States seeks a Plant Manager to lead a production facility with focus on safety, efficiency, and sustainable performance. You will drive P&L, budgeting, capacity planning, logistics, quality, and maintenance while developing a high-performing team.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of related experience in manufacturing/plant leadership.

  • Basic understanding of corporate finance functions.
  • Fundamental understanding of plastic manufacturing process.

Responsibilities

  • Safety overall Plant Safety/OSHA Compliance.

  • Capacity Planning, Customer Service, Human Resources.

  • Quality Assurance.
  • Maintenance of existing accounts; Machine and Infrastructure Maintenance.
  • Implementation and proper usage of OPEX initiatives.
  • Recruits new employees in collaboration with Hiring Manager and HR.
  • Performs disciplinary actions and training needs assessments; ensures execution of training.
  • Provides personnel development and knowledge sharing culture; conducts Annual Performance Evaluation and Goal setting.

What Will You Enjoy Doing

The Plant Manager will provide for the safe, profitable, steady, and efficient operation of an ALPLA production plant with a sustainable positive working culture and active personal development culture for the plant personnel.

Performance Metrics:

Safety Risk Level: Proactively identifies and mitigates safety risks, with documented improvements or action plans implemented quarterly

Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE): Identifies and addresses root causes of downtime to improve OEE performance as defined in the annual Target Declaration process.

Maintains waste levels at or below ___% of total production (target to be defined by plant standards).
Implements waste reduction initiatives, which contribute to an overall improvement that enables waste levels to be at or below the targets, as defined in the annual Target Declaration process.

Cost Controlling: Supports adherence to department budget by identifying cost-saving opportunities and reducing non-value-added activities
