Job summary

Movement Search & Delivery is partnering with a leading manufacturing company in Elkhart County to identify a Plant Manager for a night shift role. This is a hands-on leadership position on the floor, overseeing a ~1,000-person operation and reporting to the General Manager.

The role emphasizes leading through supervisors, maintaining production flow, driving safety, and building a stronger production team in a fast-paced environment. Night shift hours are 6:00pm–4:30am.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing — metals, assembly, automotive, or similar.
• Hands-on, floor-driven management style across multiple shifts.
• Proven ability to lead through supervisors and team leads.
• Comfort with pace, pressure, and growth in a high-volume plant.

Responsibilities

• Run night shift operations and hit production targets.
• Lead through supervisors and team leads to ensure execution.
• Troubleshoot bottlenecks and maintain continuous flow.

Movement Search and Delivery is working with a leading manufacturing companyin Elkhart County to identify and evaluate a Plant Manager

Step into a Plant Manager title at one of the largest operations in the space.

This is a night shift Plant Manager role (6:00pm – 4:30am) supporting a ~1,000-person operation that’s continuing to grow as production is consolidated into this site.

This is not a “sit in the office” Plant Manager role.

This is:

• On the floor
• Managing through supervisors
• Keeping production moving in a fast-paced, labor-intensive environment

What you’ll actually be doing:

• Running night shift operations and hitting production targets
• Leading through supervisors / team leads (not just individual contributors)
• Troubleshooting bottlenecks and keeping flow moving
• Driving accountability, safety, and output across the shift
• Coaching leaders and building a stronger production team

The environment:

• High-volume chassis production (welding + assembly)
• Growing operation with new production being brought onsite
• Big team, real responsibility, high visibility
• Reports directly to the General Manager

What they’re looking for:

• Experience in manufacturing — metals, assembly, automotive, or similar
• Comfortable managing in a hands-on, floor-driven environment
• Experience leading through supervisors in a multi-shift operation
• Someone who can handle pace, pressure, and growth

No degree required. This is about leadership and execution.

• $110K–$130K base + full benefits
