Job summary

Korn Ferry partners with a leading industrial manufacturer in the Dallas–Fort Worth area to fill a Plant Manager role overseeing a large-scale manufacturing operation.

The successful candidate will lead safety, quality, production, materials management, maintenance and staff development while driving continuous improvement and financial performance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading in heavy industrial manufacturing environments.
• Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement expertise.
• Proven ability to drive safety, quality, production, materials, and maintenance operations.
• Experience managing both salaried and hourly employees.
• Track record of productivity gains, cost improvements and stronger operational performance.
• Experience in automotive, commercial vehicle, heavy equipment, metal fabrication or related manufacturing environments.

Plant Manager Automotive/Truck Equipment Dallas-Fort Worth Area

A leading industrial manufacturer in the Dallas-Fort Worth area is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to oversee and drive the performance of its manufacturing operation. This highly visible leadership position offers the opportunity to take ownership of a large-scale manufacturing facility and play a key role in supporting the company's continued growth, operational excellence, and long-term success.

The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of plant operations, including safety, quality, production, materials management, maintenance, employee development, continuous improvement, and financial performance. This role requires a proven leader who can build high-performing teams, drive a culture of accountability and engagement, and deliver measurable results in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Ideal Qualifications:

• Plant Manager, Operations Manager, Manufacturing Manager, Site Leader, or similar leadership experience
• Progressive leadership experience within heavy industrial manufacturing
• Strong background in safety, quality, production, materials, and maintenance operations
• Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement expertise
• Experience leading both salaried and hourly employees
• Proven success driving productivity, cost improvements, and operational performance
• Experience within automotive, commercial vehicle, heavy equipment, metal fabrication, industrial equipment, assemblies, or related manufacturing environments preferred
