Job summary

Pacific International Executive Search is seeking a Plant Manager for a rapidly growing global manufacturing organization in Cleveland. You will lead safety, operational excellence and continuous improvement across a full manufacturing operation, driving growth while ensuring reliable production and cross‑functional collaboration.

The role requires 5+ years in manufacturing leadership, a strong Lean/CI background, and a bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred).

Qualifications

  • 5 years as a manufacturing operations leader.
  • Budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation, HR know‑how.
  • Strong Lean & CI background.
  • Knowledge of safety, quality, productivity, and inventory processes.
  • Production systems literacy (MRP, MPS, Scheduling).
  • Ability to create accountability and lead by example.
  • Strong team building and people management skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of the facility's operations with safety, reliability and efficiency.
  • Oversee Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, HSE, Planning, Supply Chain, Warehousing, and Logistics.
  • Develop operational plans aligned with business objectives to support demand and growth.
  • Lead planning, inventory, supplier performance, and the SIOP process.
  • Support new product introductions through cross‑functional collaboration with Engineering and Commercial teams.
  • Manage domestic and international logistics, warehousing and distribution while ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, productivity, delivery and cost.
  • Build and develop a high‑performing team with accountability.

Job description

Pacific International has been retained by a global manufacturing organization in the midst of a transformation. They are looking to identify a Plant Manager for a rapidly growing manufacturing facility. This is a highly visible site leadership role responsible for driving safety, operational excellence, and continuous improvement while leading a well-established manufacturing operation through its next phase of growth and stability.

In this role, you'll work to build a strong continuous improvement midset across the facility and work to increase capacity- preparing for this strategic group. You'll serve as a cross-functional partner within the global organization and work to ensure reliable production, optimize operational performance, and build a culture focused on safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead all aspects of the manufacturing facility, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operations.
  • Oversee Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, HSE, Planning, Supply Chain, Warehousing, and Logistics.
  • Develop operational plans aligned with business objectives to support customer demand and future growth.
  • Lead planning, inventory, supplier performance, and the SIOP process to optimize production and delivery.
  • Support new product introductions through cross-functional collaboration with Engineering and Commercial teams.
  • Manage domestic and international logistics, warehousing, and distribution while ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, productivity, delivery, and cost performance.
  • Build and develop a high-performing team while fostering a culture of accountability and operational excellence.
Qualifications:
  • 5 years as a manufacturing operations leader in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation and human resources)
  • Strong background with Lean concepts and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Be knowledgeable of safety, quality, productivity, demand creation, inventory and stewardship processes
  • Information systems literacy (in particular linked to production, MRP, MPS, Scheduling)
  • Ability to create accountability and to lead by example
  • Strong team building, decision‑making and people management skills
  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferred discipline in Engineering or Business; Master’s degree would be a plus
