Job summary

Schutz Container Systems Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our manufacturing equipment running smoothly and safely. You will install, inspect, and repair machinery, and perform preventative maintenance to support production targets.

You will collaborate with production and QA to maximize uptime, read blueprints, and address mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues in a non-climate controlled plant. OSHA safety training and strong attention to detail are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; experience levels vary by role.
• Experience with maintenance in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret English procedures and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Interact with production, QA and maintenance staff to maximize plant output and safety.
• Read blueprints and technical manuals; assist with equipment changes.
• Perform preventative maintenance to minimize equipment failure.
• Record, document and report equipment data and maintenance actions.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
