SCHÜTZ CONTAINER SYSTEMS in Plainfield, IN is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for the second shift. The role requires hands-on experience with electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and a strong PLC background.

Responsibilities include installing equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and documenting repairs. Candidates should have 3+ years in industrial maintenance, read English procedures, and follow safety protocols (NEC/OSHA).

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
• Strong PLC knowledge and factory automation understanding.
• Must read procedures in English and follow safety protocols.
• High attention to detail and multi-tasking ability.
• Knowledge of NEC and OSHA electrical safety guidelines.
• HS diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Removes and installs electric, hydraulic and pneumatic machine components to ensure safe operation of production equipment.
• Troubleshoots electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems to determine causes of machine failure and recommends repair solutions.
• Install and set up new machines/equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness, functionality and safety of maintenance equipment, tools and work areas.
• Use work orders and maintenance plans to document repairs and updates.
• Maintain documentation including blueprints, schematics, drawings, calculations.
• Model and analyze electrical systems.
• Redline/edit electrical diagrams and drawings.
• Conduct inspections and tests on electrical systems.
• Oversee and perform preventive maintenance.
• Share knowledge with employees.
• Document and categorize equipment issues.
• Create detailed work order reports.
