Job summary

WM is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on plant buildings, machinery, and equipment. The role involves on-call readiness and adherence to safety programs including LOTO and electrical safety, with a focus on reliability and rapid repairs.

Qualifications

• 0-4 years experience and/or training in maintenance.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year experience with LOTO and permit confined space programs related to maintenance activities.
• Use of forklifts, aerial-lifts, and various rigging equipment in the performance of maintenance activities.
• Boiler, Welding, or Electrical Certification or License.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance in accordance with manufacturer and WMHS procedures and safety programs (LOTO, confined space, fall protection, electrical safety).
• Diagnoses equipment and performs repairs; on-call for urgent repairs to maintain operational readiness.
• Maintains and services autoclave process equipment, PLC controls, and related systems.
• Maintains air pollution control devices, condensers, pumps, hydraulic systems, pH control, and water treatment equipment.
• Maintains boiler, steam delivery, water softeners, air handling, conveyors, and electrical generator systems.
• Documents results via work orders in CMMS and stays current on safety training.
