Job summary

Martin Marietta Materials, Inc. is seeking a Plant Maintenance Technician to ensure reliability, safety, and efficiency of plant equipment. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and support ongoing improvement initiatives across conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, and other systems.

Shifts start at 3:30pm with long days, up to 6 days per week. The role emphasizes safety and adherence to MSHA standards, with opportunities to train others and maintain

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years of heavy-duty maintenance experience preferred in aggregates industry.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical/electrical drawings and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Performs scheduled maintenance on crushers, conveyors, screens, pumps, motors, and other plant equipment.
• Inspects, diagnose, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems to prevent breakdowns.
• Maximizes performance of stationary equipment by completing preventative maintenance on schedule.
