Job summary

Martin Marietta is seeking a Plant Maintenance Technician in the United States (Colorado) to ensure reliability, safety, and efficiency of plant equipment. The role covers preventive maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and supporting continuous improvement while handling shop tasks and fabrication as needed.

You will inspect and repair various systems, maintain documentation, and uphold MSHA standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years of experience in Heavy-Duty Maintenance, preferably in the Aggregates Industry.
• Knowledge of equipment analysis and general repair concepts.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with MSHA compliance and regulations.
• Detail oriented with good time management.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance on crushers, conveyors, screens, pumps, motors, and other plant equipment.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems to prevent breakdowns.
• Prioritize SAFETY, then QUALITY, and Production while maintaining backlog with supervision.
• Respond promptly to equipment failures and production interruptions.
• Assist with cutting, welding, and fabrication tasks for plant components and structural repairs.
• Perform fabrication, erection, and repair of processing and mobile equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts usage, and equipment condition.
