Job summary

Rogers Group, Inc. is seeking a Plant Maintenance Technician for our Sand & Gravel Mining/Processing Plant in Bronte, Texas.

The role reports to the Plant Manager and requires experienced maintenance personnel capable of keeping crushers, conveyors and screens running safely and efficiently. Candidates should have strong mechanical and electrical maintenance skills, be able to troubleshoot issues quickly, and work in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Qualifications

High School or Equivalent Required.
A minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience in mining/aggregates preferred.
Heavy equipment maintenance experience required.
Welding/fabrication experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plant equipment and machinery.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment.
Maintain and repair conveyors, crushers, screens, pumps, motors, and other aggregate-processing equipment.
Inspect equipment to identify potential maintenance issues and prevent unexpected breakdowns.
Perform welding, fabrication, and equipment repairs as needed.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate equipment issues to management.
Follow all company safety policies and applicable mining/MSHA requirements.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
