Rogers Group Inc. is hiring a Maintenance Technician for the Williamsport, Indiana operation. The role involves inspecting, repairing, and maintaining crushing, screening, and conveying equipment at Interstate Sand & Gravel open-pit mine.

You will troubleshoot, replace components, and perform welding/fabrication. The job requires outdoor work in all weather, a 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. shift, and adherence to safety protocols; overtime may be needed.

Qualifications

• Must have dedication to safe work practices.
• Previous maintenance experience.
• Mechanical aptitude/ability to diagnose and perform plant repairs as needed.
• Must be willing to work a regular 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. shift.
• Must be willing to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Must be willing to work outside in a variety of conditions.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on stationary crushing, screening, and conveying equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues with crushers, screens, conveyors, pumps, and other plant systems.
• Replace or repair bearings, belts, pulleys, motors, gearboxes, liners, and other plant components as needed.
• Conduct welding, cutting, and fabrication work to repair or modify equipment and structures.
• Assist with equipment installation, alignment, and setup of new plant components.
• Maintain accurate maintenance and service records.
• Work closely with production personnel to minimize downtime and ensure safe, efficient plant operations.
• Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods of time throughout the workday, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull materials or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Operate mobile equipment (e.g., forklift, skid steer, manlift) as needed for maintenance tasks.
• Follow all company safety policies, lockout/tagout procedures, and environmental regulations.
• Participate in daily safety meetings and communicate equipment issues promptly to supervisors.
