Job summary

SSR Mining Inc. is seeking a Process Mechanic to support the Maintenance Supervisor. The role involves four 10-hour shifts, 6am–4pm, Mon-Thu, focusing on keeping fixed equipment and the crushing plant running through planned maintenance.

You will inspect work areas, troubleshoot pumps and crushers, and implement maintenance plans to minimize downtime while upholding safety and environmental standards. Relevant experience in fixed plant maintenance and welding is preferred, and you will work

Responsibilities

• Lead safety practices in all maintenance work.
• Operate work order system for preventive maintenance.
• Support maintenance strategy to maximize equipment availability.
• Perform area inspections and verify safety.
• Conduct field level risk assessments.
• Repair and rebuild processing equipment in Plant and Crusher.
• Read schematics and manuals to guide work.
• Troubleshoot pumps, crushers, and conveyors; weld where needed.
• Order parts and manage component replacements.
• Ensure contamination control policies are followed.
• Report spills and mitigate environmental impacts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
