Job summary

Rogers Group Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Princeton Quarry in Princeton, KY, on the night shift (4 p.m. – 2 a.m.).

You will perform preventative maintenance on crushers, screens, conveyors, and other plant systems; troubleshoot mechanical issues; repair bearings, motors, and gearboxes; and document service activity. The role requires outdoor work in all weather, and physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must have dedication to safe work practices.
• Previous maintenance experience on industrial equipment.
• Mechanical aptitude to diagnose and repair plant systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on stationary crushing, screening, and conveying equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues with crushers, screens, conveyors, pumps, and other plant systems.
• Replace or repair bearings, belts, pulleys, motors, gearboxes, and liners as needed.
• Weld, cut, and fabricate to repair or modify equipment and structures.
• Assist with installation, alignment, and setup of new plant components.
• Maintain accurate maintenance and service records.
• Work with production to minimize downtime and ensure safe, efficient plant operations.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions; stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
• Lift up to 50 pounds regularly; operate forklift, skid steer, and manlift as needed.
• Follow all safety policies and lockout/tagout procedures; participate in safety meetings.
