LJP Waste Solutions is hiring a Plant Maintenance Technician for our North Mankato, MN facility. You will keep equipment and systems safe and efficient, performing troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance.

The role requires reading electrical/mechanical schematics, working with HVAC, plumbing, conveyors, and hydraulic systems. You’ll balance independent work with teamwork while prioritizing safety. Schedule: Mon–Fri, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics and manuals.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Safety-focused and able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Work safely and promote a safe work environment.
• Follow company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on facility equipment.
• Maintain maintenance logs and checklists.
• Operate maintenance tools and equipment.
• Coordinate with vendors on maintenance projects.
• Handle lockout/tagout procedures.
• Assist with equipment installations and repairs as needed.
• Document work performed and equipment condition in systemen.
• Assist with overtime shifts when required.
