Job summary

Wis-Pak, Inc. in Mankato, MN is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep equipment running safely and efficiently. You will respond to trouble calls, perform preventive maintenance, and document tasks and deficiencies.

This role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, operating power tools and welding equipment, and occasional travel to technical schools, with a rotating 2-2-3 schedule from 6:00pm to 6:00am.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and ability to train and share knowledge with coworkers.
• Flexible to varying workloads, emergency calls, and travel to technical schools.
• Team-first attitude with ability to work independently.
• Reliable and proactive with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in damp/noisy environments.
• Authorized to work in the United States permanently; visa sponsorship not provided.
• Read/write/speak English sufficiently to perform duties.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety, health, quality, GMP, and company policies and procedures.
• Respond to equipment trouble calls and perform efficient, sanitary, and safe repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance and document tasks, time, and deficiencies.
• Operate power tools, welding/cutting equipment, and man lifts as needed.
• Complete and file all required documentation in a timely and organized manner.
