Job summary

Amcor is hiring a Mechanical Maintenance Technician for the night shift at its Mankato, MN facility. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, repair and setup of production equipment, and adherence to safety and ISO standards.

Candidates should read schematics and be capable with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in manufacturing maintenance, can operate welding equipment, fabricate parts, and work well in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years’ experience in a manufacturing mechanical environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on all machinery and production equipment.
• Read mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic schematics; troubleshoot and repair as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area; adhere to safety rules and procedures.
• Operate welding equipment (stick, MIG, braze, torch) and fabricate parts as needed.
• Understand and service compressors and transfer systems; assist with related maintenance tasks.
