Job summary

WIOSS Automation Solutions LP in Mankato, MN is seeking an Electromechanical Technician to help keep automated systems running smoothly. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, and support operators with a focus on safety and documentation.

You should be mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and able to learn quickly. The role involves day/evening/night shifts, working at heights with PPE, and using CMMS to track activities.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years minimum experience as an Electromechanical Technician.
• Experience maintaining and troubleshooting automated systems (e.g., conveyors, cranes, hoists).
• Skilled in mechanical repairs and use of hand/power tools.
• Familiarity with electrical drive technology and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Follow health and safety regulations and actively contribute to maintaining a safe working environment
• Perform unplanned and reactive electrical and mechanical repairs
• Execute planned maintenance work orders in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Troubleshoot and diagnose general electrical and mechanical faults
• Monitor system performance and maintain awareness of operational status
• Document all maintenance activities accurately in CMMS
• Apply and uphold 5S principles in the work environment
