Martin Marietta Materials, Inc. is seeking a Plant Maintenance Technician to ensure reliability, safety, and efficiency of plant equipment. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, and support improvements across conveyors, pumps, crushers, and related systems.

The role requires hands-on fabrication, welding, and fabrication tasks, and adherence to MSHA standards. You will keep maintenance records, coordinate with supervisors, and prioritize safety

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Work Experience: 1+ years of experience related to Heavy-Duty Maintenance, preferably in aggregates.
• Knowledge: Equipment analysis, troubleshooting, MSHA compliance, problem solving, time management.

Responsibilities

• Performs scheduled maintenance on crushers, conveyors, screens, pumps, motors, and other plant equipment.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems to prevent breakdowns.
• Maximizes performance of stationary equipment by repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Responds to equipment failures and production interruptions promptly.
• Assists with cutting, welding, and fabrication tasks for plant components and structural repairs.
• Maintains accurate records of maintenance activities and parts usage.
