Job summary

Gobravvo is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure reliability of production equipment in a commercial laundry plant. You will perform both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and document maintenance logs to minimize downtime.

The role emphasizes safety, collaboration with engineering, and proactive problem-solving to keep conveyors, overhead rails, and drives operating smoothly.

Qualifications

• Experience with preventive maintenance on mechanical drive systems.
• Ability to read maintenance logs and report status.
• Knowledge of lockout/tagout, confined space, and hot equipment safety.
• Strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance activities on all assigned equipment according to established schedules.
• Respond promptly to equipment failures or issues, including addressing jams, replacing belts, and repairing ironer tape as needed.
• Ensure timely completion of maintenance and repairs for overhead rail systems, conveyor systems, and other mechanical equipment.
• Assist technical and mechanical personnel, including working with outside vendors, to support complex maintenance tasks.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance logs, documenting incomplete tasks and new problems for follow-up.
• Notify production supervisors of equipment status changes that may affect production schedules.
• Comply with all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout protocols, confined space entry, and safe handling of hot equipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area for yourself and your colleagues.
• Carry out other duties as assigned to support plant maintenance.
