Job summary

Crothall Laundry Services is seeking a maintenance technician to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in a high‑volume commercial laundry plant. You will monitor equipment performance, perform preventative maintenance, and address jams, belt issues, and tape problems, coordinating with Engineering as needed.

The role requires performing safety procedures, maintaining logs, and communicating effectively with supervisors.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work as part of a team and also independently.
• Must understand and follow safety protocols including lockout/tag out and confined space rules.
• Good mechanical understanding of machinery and drive systems.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative maintenance on equipment as scheduled.
• Ensures timely completion of maintenance and repairs, including overhead rail and conveyor systems.
• Assists technical and mechanical personnel including outside vendors as needed.
• Maintains the maintenance log by recording incomplete tasks and new problems.
• Notifies Production Supervisors on the status of equipment that may impact production or downtime.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
