Gobravvo is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure reliability of production equipment in a commercial laundry plant. You will perform both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and document maintenance logs to minimize downtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance activities on all assigned equipment according to established schedules.
• Respond promptly to equipment failures or issues, including addressing jams, replacing belts, and repairing ironer tape as needed.
• Ensure timely completion of maintenance and repairs for overhead rail systems, conveyor systems, and other mechanical equipment.
• Assist technical and mechanical personnel, including working with outside vendors, to support complex maintenance tasks.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance logs, documenting incomplete tasks and new problems for follow-up.
• Notify production supervisors of equipment status changes that may affect production schedules.
• Comply with all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout protocols, confined space entry, and safe handling of hot equipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area for yourself and your colleagues.
• Carry out other duties as assigned to support plant maintenance.

The Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of all equipment within a commercial laundry plant. This position involves performing both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues as they arise, and executing preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for monitoring the performance and condition of various types of machinery throughout production operations, addressing technical problems promptly, and working collaboratively with the broader maintenance and engineering teams to ensure optimal plant operations. The role requires strong technical aptitude, attention to safety protocols, and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving equipment-related issues.

As a Maintenance Technician, your primary focus will be on maintaining production equipment such as conveyor systems, overhead rail systems, and other mechanical drive systems used in commercial laundry operations. You will perform daily inspections, conduct preventive and emergent repairs, and coordinate with supervisors and technical personnel to minimize production disruptions.
