Job summary

Core Linen Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our commercial laundry processing team. You will maintain, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on conveyors, overhead rail systems, and other plant equipment to ensure safe, efficient operation.

You will work with engineering and production teams, document maintenance activities, and uphold safety standards while helping to keep downtime to a minimum. This role rewards hands-on problem solving and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong motivation, promptness, and attention to detail.
• Solid communication skills for reporting status and coordinating with supervisors.
• Proficient in safe operation and troubleshooting of laundry machinery and related systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on commercial laundry equipment.
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve equipment issues such as jams or worn belts.
• Coordinate with technical staff and outside vendors for complex repairs or maintenance tasks.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and report equipment status.
• Alert production supervisors to downtime issues and provide updates when machinery is back online.
• Support safety protocols including lockout/tag out procedures, confined space entry, and safe operation of hot equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety.
• Assist with additional tasks as assigned by management.
