Job summary

Martin Marietta is seeking a Plant Maintenance/Machinist to inspect, diagnose, and repair rock crusher and fixed plant equipment. You will perform preventative maintenance, operate welding and cutting tools, and assist with fabrication as needed at our Malvern-area sites.

The role requires adherence to safety programs, ability to work 8–12 hour shifts, and flexibility for overtime and travel to training. Day-one benefits and training are provided by the company.

Qualifications

• Must have strong mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot plant equipment.
• Reading and writing skills are required for reports and safety documentation.
• Ability to communicate using two-way radios and signals with coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose issues with machinery and perform preventative maintenance.
• Repair stationary equipment such as conveyors, shakers, pumps, and gearboxes.
• Operate maintenance trucks and hand/power tools; assist with fabrication and welding as needed.
• Maintain paperwork to track equipment status and repairs; follow Martin Marietta standards.
