Job summary

United Talent Staffing is seeking a Plant Maintenance Technician for a Mt. Pleasant, PA area manufacturing facility. This contract-to-perm role offers a day shift with steady daytime hours and opportunities to work on a range of equipment and facility systems.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, read blueprints, and collaborate with production staff to minimize downtime. Prior industrial maintenance experience is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or facilities maintenance.
• Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, boilers, and/or chillers preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and equipment specs.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple maintenance needs.
• Comfortable with a Monday–Friday day shift in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and routine maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, lighting, and facility issues.
• Inspect equipment to identify potential problems before breakdowns or downtime.
• Respond to maintenance requests and equipment issues throughout the workday.
• Perform general facility repairs and upkeep as needed.
• Assist with equipment installations, facility upgrades, and modifications.
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions and unsafe conditions and take corrective action.
• Complete work orders and maintain records of repairs and maintenance.
• Collaborate with production personnel to keep equipment operating safely.

United Talent Staffing is hiring a Plant Maintenance Technician for a manufacturing facility in the Mt. Pleasant, PA area.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced maintenance professional who enjoys troubleshooting, working independently, and keeping equipment and facility systems operating safely and efficiently.

Location: Mt.Pleasant, PA

Type: Contract to Perm

Shift & Pay

• Pay: $27.00–$28.00/hour based on experience
• Shift: Day Shift
• Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
• Schedule: Monday–Friday

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

• Ability to use multimeters, gauges, and common maintenance and diagnostic tools.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple maintenance needs.
• Comfortable working a Monday–Friday day shift in a manufacturing environment.

Physical Requirements

This is an active, hands-on maintenance position. Candidates should be comfortable standing and walking for extended periods and performing tasks that may require bending, reaching, climbing, kneeling, pushing, pulling, and lifting. Some maintenance tasks may require working in tight or awkward positions.
