Qualifications

• Two to four years of industrial plant maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and equipment repair.
• Welding, pipefitting or millwright skills.
• Ability to pass mechanical and electrical assessments.
• Associate degree in a technical field or willingness to pursue one with company‑paid schooling.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Willingness to obtain forklift and scissor-lift certification.

Responsibilities

Pay: Approximately $30 per hour, depending on experience

Employment Type: Direct Hire- Full-time, hourly

Are you an experienced industrial maintenance technician who enjoys troubleshooting equipment and keeping production moving? We are seeking a hands‑on Maintenance Technician to join a fast‑paced manufacturing team in Walhalla.

This position offers the opportunity to work with a wide variety of industrial systems and equipment. The company also provides paid continuing education to help employees strengthen their technical skills and advance their careers.

What You’ll Do

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability
• Maintain heat-treat furnaces, metal-stamping presses, assembly equipment, finishing and tumble equipment, boilers, chillers, compressors, and HVAC systems
• Diagnose equipment issues and support production technicians and engineers
• Complete welding, pipefitting, and other millwright-related work
• Record completed work, equipment issues, and parts used in the CMMS
• Participate in equipment improvement projects and team problem-solving activities
• Follow all safety, environmental, quality, and 5S standards

What We’re Looking For

• Two to four years of industrial plant maintenance experience
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities
• Experience with preventive maintenance and industrial equipment repair
• Welding, pipefitting, or general millwright skills
• Ability to pass mechanical aptitude and electrical assessments
• Associate degree in industrial electronics, mechatronics, or another technical field—or willingness to pursue one with company‑paid schooling
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
• Willingness to complete forklift and scissor‑lift certification

Physical and Scheduling Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds
• Comfortable working in hot, humid, and industrial manufacturing conditions
• Availability for occasional overtime, weekends, holidays, and plant shutdown work when required
