Aerotek is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join a growing food manufacturing team in York, PA. The role combines electrical troubleshooting, mechanical repairs, fabrication, welding, and preventive maintenance to keep production equipment running safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing production equipment, conducting preventive maintenance, reading schematics, and supporting GMP and food safety standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
• PLC troubleshooting experience
• Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
• TIG stainless welding experience
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics
• Fabrication and machining experience
• Experience using precision measuring tools
• Own basic maintenance hand tools
• Commitment to workplace safety
• Electrical panel building and wiring experience
• Knowledge of motors, drives, and control systems
• Strong fabrication and machine-building skills
• Ability to work independently and on a team
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Must follow GMP and food safety standards
• Shift availability: 1st and 2nd shifts

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair production equipment
• Perform electrical repairs, installations, and panel wiring
• Repair motors, drives, conveyors, fryers, and packaging equipment
• Conduct preventive maintenance programs
• Read and use blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Assist with PLC, HMI, and servo motor issues
• Perform TIG stainless welding and equipment fabrication
• Build and modify machinery and machine components
• Maintain inventory and parts usage records
• Follow all GMP, food safety, and safety procedures

Job description

Join a growing food manufacturing team responsible for keeping production equipment running safely and efficiently. This role combines electrical troubleshooting, mechanical repairs, fabrication, welding, and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and support plant operations.

Pay: $30-$40/hr based on experience.

1st Shift

• Monday-Friday
• 6:00 AM-2:00 PM or 7:00 AM-3:00 PM
• Ideal for candidates with stronger electrical skills

2nd Shift

• 2:00 PM-10:00 PM or 3:00 PM-11:00 PM
• Ideal for candidates with stronger mechanical skills

Overtime and weekend work may be required.

What You'll Do

• Troubleshoot and repair production equipment

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of York, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
