Job summary

Kraft Heinz in Muscatine Factory, IA is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance staff and ensure plant equipment operates at peak efficiency to meet production targets.

The role covers TPM, CMMS, electrical/electronic, mechanical systems and safety, with opportunities to implement process improvements and manage budgets. Applicants should have a bachelor’s in engineering and prior manufacturing leadership; the position offers competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field is strongly preferred
• Minimum of 1-5 years of related leadership experience in a Manufacturing environment is required
• Must be familiar with maintenance management system operations
• Experience implementing and maintaining TPM Systems is strongly preferred
• Understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and utility systems including ammonia refrigeration and boiler systems is a plus
• Understanding of direct and overhead cost systems
• Experience using, troubleshooting and programming Allen Bradley PLCs is a plus
• Must be able to work flexible schedule to include days, afternoons, midnights, and weekend work

Responsibilities

• Directs maintenance personnel to maximize system uptime to meet production schedules
• Improves reliability and maintenance methods to reduce costs
• Determines equipment capabilities and safety in coordination with supervisors
• Develops preventive maintenance procedures to extend equipment life
• Coordinates and supervises preventive and corrective maintenance per procedures
• Provides maintenance training on logs and routines
• Assists with safety training and safety committee participation
• Oversees QRMP implementation and plant standards
• Leads process improvement initiatives (Six Sigma / Lean / KHMS)
• Communicates with contractors and vendors
