Job summary

Water Lilies Food, LLC in Bay Shore, NY is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance crew and align with the Senior Maintenance Manager. This role drives preventive maintenance, safety policy enforcement, and continuous improvement across facilities and equipment.

You will coordinate with planners and other shifts, develop maintenance logs, and provide technical training while ensuring production schedules are met and downtime is minimized.

Qualifications

• Experience directing maintenance personnel to support production.
• Proven ability to develop preventive maintenance procedures.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods; lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Directs maintenance personnel to ensure systems operate at peak production, quality, and safety levels.
• Improves reliability and reduces downtime through best maintenance practices.
• Develops preventive maintenance procedures and maintenance logs.
• Coordinates with Maintenance Manager, planners, and other shifts across departments.
• Provides maintenance training and assists workers in diagnosing malfunctions.
• Assists with ensuring safe operation and compliance with SOPs and SDS.
• Manages inventory and coordinates with contractors and vendors.
• Keeps clear communication with maintenance staff and executives and adheres to budget constraints.
