Job summary

Water Lilies Food, LLC, a private equity-backed manufacturer and distributor of premium Asian-inspired foods, moved to a state-of-the-art Bay Shore, NY facility in 2020 and is growing rapidly.

The Maintenance Supervisor reports to the Senior Maintenance Manager and leads the maintenance crew, coordinating with the planner and PM schedule to ensure equipment reliability, safety, and production continuity.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to manage maintenance programs and staff.
• Experience with PM schedules and maintenance planning.
• Bilingual English/Spanish desirable.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Proficient with MS Office and CMMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Directs maintenance personnel to meet production schedules, quality, costs and priorities.
• Improves reliability and maintenance processes to reduce downtime.
• Develops preventative maintenance procedures to extend equipment life.
• Coordinate with Supervisors and technicians on safety and operations.
• Provide maintenance training and safety policy enforcement.
• Assist in requisitioning spare parts and budget compliance.
• Lead maintenance inspections and coordinate with facilities for upgrades.
• Communicate with contractors and vendors to ensure timely repairs.
