Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to coordinate all aspects of plant maintenance, directing a team of 15 technicians and assisting the Maintenance Manager in policy execution. You will ensure a safe, clean facility while minimizing downtime through proactive maintenance and rapid problem-solving.

The role requires knowledge of SQF policies, GMP practices, and strong leadership, with a focus on training staff and maintaining high performance across shifts.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or college program certificate or 3+ years related experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• 3 years of maintenance experience; supervisor or lead with direct reports preferred.
• Strong communication skills; ability to write and speak clearly.
• Basic PLC experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office; SAP a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct a staff of maintenance technicians (approx. 15).
• Oversee preventative maintenance and equipment repairs.
• Drive safety culture and GMP compliance across the plant.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and PLC issues and coordinate repairs.
