Job summary
Nederland, Texas-based facility seeks a Maintenance Scheduler to plan and schedule preventive, predictive, and unplanned outages. You will collaborate with maintenance, operations, engineering, HSE, and warehouse to ensure accurate work scopes and timely completion.
Required: a 4-year degree, 8+ years in industrial scheduling, and strong SAP/P6 CMMS experience. You will drive KPI reporting, optimize plans, and coordinate with vendors and internal teams for safe, compliant outages.
Qualifications
- Typically requires a 4 year degree or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years related scheduling/planning experience.
- 5+ years scheduling in SAP and P6.
- 10+ years in industrial scheduling, oil & gas focus.
- 5+ years CMMS SAP scheduling and PM/maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Develop advanced maintenance strategies to improve reliability.
- Analyze data to optimize preventive programs and reduce failures.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for complex projects.
- Drive continuous improvement to cut maintenance costs.
- Ensure safety and environmental compliance in planning.
- Negotiate with vendors for materials and services.
- Plan maintenance work orders, schedules, and outages.
- Monitor KPIs and report status against targets.
- Optimize SAP work planning and scheduling with CI lead.
- Prioritize work orders based on risk and feasibility.
